I decided to sign up for the one week free trial of Paramount+ via my Comcast Xfinity account. It won't allow, and says it won't allow, fast forwarding, rewinding or pausing. Without that, to me, it's worthless. And once the trial is over, it's $5.99 per month (probably closer to $8 once Comcast gets done with the fees and taxes) but still requires me to watch ads. What am I missing?
On another note, CBS was running the first two seasons of Yellowstone, week by week, before the holidays. Will this come back, or was that just as filler during the content lag of the writers' strike? And if I want to watch the rest of Yellowstone and it's not on CBS, I'll have to sign up for Peacock. Will Peacock be like Paramount+. Netflix has the best streaming experience. It would be nice if Paramount+ and Peacock and even (HBO) MAX worked that way. MAX is close but not up to Netflix ease.
