I’m looking for advice on how to convert a portfolio that was created by Edelman but they are no longer in the picture.
In a perfect world this account would go to VTMFX, but that switch is not easy due to $100k+ in capital gains (mostly LTCG). High marginal fed tax. Colorado 4% state tax. Wife and I are 54. $1.8M total and other 1.2M can be assumed to be VBIAX/VTSAX blend to 70:30.
Any thoughts on what moves would be advised?
