Personal Investments • 401k Bond fund options

Looking for some insight regarding the 2 bond fund options available within my 401k. I've read over the summaries available within the plan, not sure how to determine if there's a significant advantage to one.

Passive Index funds:
BTC US Debt Index F ER: 0.003%
- approximates Bloomberg US Aggregate Bond Index

Actively Managed Funds
BTC Total Return F ER: 0.005%
- "seeks to ...exceed the Bloomberg US Agg Bond Index

Please let me know if more info is needed.
