Some stocks have tons of option chains available, at many different expiration dates. For example, SPY has one almost every day. Others, like VXUS have them approximately monthly to quarterly. Who gets to decide the schedule? I think liquidity of the underlying is a factor, but so little for VXUS? They have 400B in assets!
