Our son is moving to the Philippines with his wife (American; part Filipino), our 1 yr old grandson and her parents (mom is Filipino). They're buying a house there, but since my son is a foreigner, his name can't go on the property & should something happen to my DIL, her Filipino relatives would inherit the house. Also, our DIL is doing contract work, but our son is resigning from his position & will be a stay-at-home dad once they move. So, we want to protect our son financially, as it relates to an inheritance, especially since he will have no equity in their house. How can we best do that?
Thank you in advance and hope this isn't off topic for this forum. I've been helped here before and it's the first place I thought of when thinking about this issue...
