Ola Friends!
Yes, I am loving my ROTH retirement account with IRA Financial that is based on a single member LLC
with a checking account with Capital One. I am the manager, the custodian is the member.
Oh dear! I am not sure how to file the required annual Texas Franchise Tax report for this entity.
Of course, no tax returns are filed for this nontaxable entity, so my CPA’s are not involved.
And I emailed IRA Financial about the form but they said to contact the state.
I sent the state an email asking them for guidance on filing out the online form. I only have checking
account and IRA Financial statements. I do not keep spreadsheets, or QBs entries to track historical returns,
losses, etc. The state did not reply.
Has anyone done this? Any hints / advice? Obviously, no Texas franchise tax will ever be due for this account.
I just need to get this done and move on. Thank you!
