Hi Folks

We have a 19 month old little boy and are trying for number 2 currently. It has become painfully obvious that I cannot keep the level of funding in our retirement accounts that we are currently at.

net income right round 100 K sfter deductions , I think we put away a lot on that income.

wifes 401K 22,000 a year

Mine 6000.00 a year

two roth Ira's 13,000

Land payments on farm ground that I own with my brothers around 12,000 a year. This is fixed payment on inheritance ground we got a discount on a per acre basis when ground parents passed. 20 years left on the note.

600,000 in total retirement accounts including taxable.

in the last year we have had 14,000 in home repairs so that took a lot of our extra cash going into 2024.

I guess I just needed to vent. decrease retirement funding for a while.
