I have around $10k in stock awards at my current company that vested last December. So far, it is sitting at a $400 loss from the original cost basis when it vested. The stock historically has barely grown PPS-wise over the past 6 years, and I don't expect that to change in the foreseeable future. My question (which I think I know the answer to already but am mainly looking for some validation from others) is whether I should keep the money in the stock or cut my loss, sell now, and put it in another more promising investment such as a Vanguard mutual fund or even a high-yield savings account?
