Personal Investments • what's the problem of having both pre-tax IRA and ROTH IRA

I have pre-tax IRA which was rolled over from traditional 401K of my previous employers. With my current employer, I have ROTH IRA. I heard about those talking about issues having both pre-tax IRA and ROTH IRA. But I still don't understand what issues will arise in my case?
Can somebody please kindly explain it to me? Thanks!
